We were there as a family to celebrate a 40th birthday. Couldn’t have chosen a better place. The food was diverse and amazing. The service was exceptional. The only thing that my server could have done was warn us against over ordering. However, the manager was generous enough by not charging us for something we couldn’t even try. And he also gave us the birthday dessert and an extra dessert to take home.

Hands-down, this has to be my favorite restaurant in all of Charlotte. I’ve lost how many times I’ve been to this restaurant. The food is phenomenal everything from the yuca bowls, ceviche, paella, beef anticucho, Nigiri, and drinks. I don’t think I’ve had a single thing on the menu that was not mind blowing. Go with a friend, go on a date or sit at the bar by yourself, and grab a pisco punch, either way you’re gonna have a great experience!

The service here was one of a kind. The vibes were immaculate. Our drinks never went empty. You can tell they really run as a team here and we enjoyed it. Came to celebrate me and my brother's birthday. We both got a dessert and Polaroid picture and that was a perfect touch to the experience here.

This haute Peruvian cuisine is a MUST-TRY in South End. A Peruvian friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed! Although smaller portions, these dishes are PACKED with flavor. The Yunta ceviche was to-die-for. I recommend ordering it with a mild spice level to savor all the flavors in the leche de tigre. The udon steak was so tender, juicy, and flavorful, something so rare to find when steak is chopped! The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, refilling our water basically after every sip and checking in constantly to make sure everything was up to par. With dim lighting, industrial decor, and modern beats, Yunta is the perfect place for a date night! Just make sure to reserve ahead of time!

This was our first experience at this restaurant while visiting Charlotte. Being Friday night, the restaurant was packed and we were seated outside. The server, Enrique was knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful with our menu choices and his recommendation was spot on. Poseidon Causita was probably least favorite out of all the food we ordered. Overall, from the drinks, appetizers, the main entrees to the desserts, we enjoyed our experience. If you are a creme brulee purist like my husband, I wouldn't recommend the passion fruit creme brulee but my daughter who usually doesn't like a creme brulee liked it. The cake they brought for us for our son's birthday (not on the menu) was actually my favorite dessert

Yunta gives off true Peruvian flavors while serving up the most NYC vibe in Charlotte. I came here with my husband for our anniversary dinner, and wow—what an experience! We arrived on a Sunday around 5 PM, and to our surprise, the restaurant was already packed (always a good sign!). We ordered the Yunta Ceviche, and it was probably one of the best ceviches I’ve ever had, bursting with flavor and the perfect level of natural heat. For drinks, we got the Pisco Sour Flight, which was such a fun way to try a few variations. To start, we shared the Poseidon Causita, and for our entrees, we both went with the Lomo Saltado. Everything was so delicious. But honestly, what stood out most was the incredible service. The staff went above and beyond and they even took a Polaroid of us to capture the moment, which made our anniversary feel extra special. 10/10 — I can easily see Yunta reaching Michelin star status someday.

I was at Junta on Thursday, and I have to say: the place and its decoration are very pleasant. The service was also quite good, and the food was excellent. My favorite dishes were the shrimp croquettes and the torched scallop nigiris. The music and atmosphere were really nice for a Thursday night, making it a very enjoyable experience. Overall, it’s a very, very good place. Highly recommended. I hope that when I go back to Charlotte, I can return because it’s truly a spot where you have a great time. They serve good drinks, and at the same time, the food is absolutely delicious.
